Earl Lewis III

Earl Lewis III, has been working in the Residential Financing and Real Estate industry for over 20 years.  His career started at Long Beach Mortgage, a small regional retail mortgage company, in 1995.  From this position he was able to gain valuable experience on his way to becoming an Assistant Vice President, and Southern California Equity Group Manager, for Wells Fargo.  While he learned a great deal of invaluable, corporate experience there, he continually noticed how Wholesale Mortgage Lenders were routinely pricing their mortgage below his own Bank’s pricing.  It also seemed that the Wholesale Lenders could provide better service and flexibility to their clients as these Wholesale Lenders had access to multiple Lending Companies and Banks, while he had just the one product at his bank.

It was at this point he decided to complete his BRE Licensing for a Salesperson and pursue opportunities in the Wholesale Lending arena.  He soon found a home with a local Wholesale Brokerage where he worked for 14 years.  While there, he discovered that his clients greatly benefited, by not only completing their residential financing with him, but also having him act as their Real Estate Agent in the buying and/or selling of their properties.  He had discovered that there was huge disconnect in communication between Agents and Loan Officers in regards to one of transactions biggest items:  the loan.  He wondered why Real Estate Agents didn’t know enough about the financing on, probably, their clients’ biggest purchase of their lives.  So, it was no surprise that he also wondered why Loan Officers didn’t know the ramifications of residential purchase contracts, and the potential liability a Buyer faces when leaning on a Loan Officers advice regarding contract contingencies.

Earl III’s (family, friends and some clients also know him as “Tres”) best moment of his continuing career came when his father, Earl Jr., completed his brokerage’s NMLS mortgage licensing enabling him to come to work for him.

Earl III is a graduate of the Business Management School at San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree.  Additionally, Earl III is a Veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Shield, while serving for the US Naval Reserve College program, when his reserve unit was called to active duty for the conflict.  Continuing in his father’s Navy footsteps was one of his fondest memories.  His father’s service to his country during the Vietnam conflict has always been paramount in Earl III’s ultimate respect for him.

Earl III is married to his lovely wife Andrea.  They have one child, Logan, and three dogs in a household that seems to continually be in perpetual motion and laughter.  Andrea is also licensed with the BRE and has been an Agent, Associate and Loan Coordinator with Earl III.
